Confused between Entry and Tourist Visa

My husband and I are Green card holders. Our 7 mths old son is US Citizen. We plan to visit India next month. Which visa should we apply for him - Tourist visa or Entry Visa?

You no longer have a choice - you MUST apply for an Entry visa. You should also apply immediately -- I've heard that Entry visa processing has slowed considerably since the change.

PIO is another option -- more expensive initially, but 15 years validity, so cheaper than an Entry visa plus renewals. If you live near your consulate, applying in person might be faster than applying by mail.
