OCI Dispatched But Haven't Received Passport Yet

Hi all,

In mid-August, the status of my OCI became "Documents Received at Washington on August 16." I immediately sent my US passport so I can get the OCI and verified that it got there via tracking. The Embassy of India site says it takes about 20 business days to return the password. But it has now been over 20 business days and I haven't gotten my passport back. I've sent them an email at [email protected], but of course they don't reply... How long has it taken others to get their passports back from the embassy at Washington DC?

I sent my passport on AUG 23rd and received them back on SEP 16th.

However I did not receive my renunciation certificate. Only the passport came back with stamp Cancelled, OCI Acquired Dated-----

Did you received your passports back . I have sent mine on 28th Sept and have not got them back yet .
