Any suggestions?

I have sent my application on July 23, 2010 to Consulate General of Chicago. I was able to receive my Acknowledgment using us OCI online inquiry form on August 18th, 2010. I waited until September 9th to see the process move any further, however, nothing changed. I thought, may be there is problem in my photo so I took a new photo/scanned along with my new Part A of the OCI application and sent my old OCI application number (as detailed on the Consulates website). I have been checking the status using both the new/old OCI app. number, but there are no changes. The only thing I see is the Acknowledgment date of August 18th. Can anyone advice, as to what should I do to move this process any further? I have not received any type of email confirmation from the consulate. Online inquiry states that
Date Of Acknowledgment 18-AUG-2010
Registration = UnderProcess
Documents Printing Status = NOT PRINTED
Documents Dispatched to Concerned Mission/Office on = NOT DISPATCHED
Documents Received at CHICAGO = NOT YET

Why ? Once the application has been ACKed you have to have patience. To open multiple applications online complicates the matter unnecessarily. Does it not say that one has to wait 30 days after acknowledgement before going to your mission to check on what could have been your problem ?
