I applied for passport renewal under the tatkal scheme at VFS New York Application center. I received an email on Dec 10 with the message, your document is dispatched using the return label purchased. If using VFS courier, please check for email from "[email protected]" for details .
it's been a week and I haven't received my passport or any tracking update. I reached out to VFS customer care on Dec 14 and Dec 15 to provide me the Fedex tracking number, they do not have this information and told me that they have forwarded the query to the New York application center and asked me to wait for the response. They do not even provide the turn around time. I am really concerned at this point since I do not have any whereabouts about my passport.
I have reached out to Indian Embassy New York on PRAMIT, but they responded with they do not keep track of the issue once its been passed to VFS. Is anyone else on the same boat or know how to contact NY VFS directly.
