US born minor BirthCertificate need to be apostilled for OCI?(Parents Indian citizen)

Hello, I am getting confused by the differences between the requirement of the online uploaded forms and physical forms. While trying to upload the pdf documents online for my new born (US) son's OCI, it says "foreign issued birth certificate is to be get apostle". Is it really needed if parents are still Indian citizen? Does anyone have any recent experience?

RJ20181 No need to apostilled US born child. I did for my US born child and just send copy for US birth certificate.
