OCI-Traveling Question

Dear Sir,

Can a foreigner who has applied for OCI in U.K. travel to India immediately on receipt of the OCI in hand or will he have to apply for some other visa. Would also appreciate if you could let me know if the 2 month ban from re-entering India would apply, as the foreigner has just visited India on a 180 tourist visa.

Please inform. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

You can travel immediately.

Two months restriction is not applicable to those entering on OCI.
