Did they make the mistake or did you make the mistake in filling out the paperwork?
If you did, they will likely make you jump through hoops to get it corrected. If you had entered it correctly and they made the mistake, I believe they will correct it.
The name(s) should match to a T if you do not want issues/problems in the future so get back to them ASAP. Not sure if they have a page which lists whom to contact if the document has mistakes. I vaguely remember the page saying that when I got our OCIs.

To whom should I contact, if I see mistakes on the issued Indian Passport or OCI card or Visa or Renunciation Certificates?
Information is printed on the documents as what you have filled while completing the online Form on the Government Portal. If you have made mistakes while filling up the Govt. formthen VFS Indian Consular application Centres wont be in a position to assist. To get the corrections done, you should contact the Embassy of India or its Consulate directly based on your Consular Jurisdiction.

Chicago
Houston
New York
San Francisco
Washington DC
There should be an email contact for OCI information. I belong to the Washington DC jurisdiction and I have never had success in them picking up that phone at all ever and I have lived here 25 years and have tried dozens of times in the past. I have been able to talk to ATL embassy folks and NY embassy folks but never with DC folks.
