Dear Sirs

I am a British national living in India for the last 10 year on X visa with my British NRI wife who I am now divorced from.


I married a girl from Karnataka last year and my visa is up for renewal in October 2011.


Can I apply for a OCI considering my marriage status or only PIO ?


Can I apply in the UK while I am here in India ?


What documents are required ? my wife does not have a passport ?

You can not apply for OCI. You can apply for PIO when you are already married to your current wife for at least 1 year.

You can apply either in India or in the UK.
