your daughter can get oci on the basis of your indian citizenship.

No, she cannot. If BOTH the parents are still India citizens, the foreign-born kids are NOT eligible for OCI. They are only eligible for PIO card, based on parent's Indian citizenship.

In this case however, the daughter may be eligible for OCI based on DAD's foreign citizenship and Indian domicile, with him now being a Sri Lankan citizen with OCI.

Please check the requirements again, since this is how I understood when I applied for my son's PIO.
