OCI Card new Application - Needs Indian Voter Id to be cancelled

I have submitted new application for OCI as I acquired US citizenship and was Indian citizen previously. I attached all the necessary documents like US passport , Cancelled Indian passport , Renunciation certificate and US Citizenship certificate along with others requested. The application was put on hold and was asked to submit one document.

Undertaking for Surrender of Indian Voter Card and Ration Card : IS REQUIRED - KINDLY DOWNLOAD THE FORM

This document needs to cancel Indian Voter ID card.

Any one had this experience ? Is there a way to cancel the Voter ID card.

Do you have voter ID? If yes, you can cancel online (submit request). if you dont have then just download the form and submit.

Interesting! This is new. I found the form on the Vancouver Consulate website https://cgivancouver.gov.in/public_f...rd_23nov24.pdf
