SFP - PIO Processing Time

Could you please share your own processing times for PIO at SFO consulate?
The SFO website says its 15 days.

In my case its 15 business days ( 3 weeks) up and I still dont see return Fedex tracking number show up on Fedex website


Please excuse my typo on SFO in subject. There is no option to edit Subject line

Hi there,

Did you send in your kid's orginal passport while applying for PIO through mail?.

Because, I am confused here. In Indianconsulate.com website says that you need to send in orginal passport and PIO downlodable forms say 'No orginals' to be sent.

I applied at the SFO consulate and it clearly mentioned to submit original passport
Also note that I applied prior to 11th Feb 2011. Now you have to apply to Travisa but still you need to submit original passport
I dont think you can do away with not submitting the original passport
