OCI - close family members

Hello all,
For Part B, question #21, I wrote the answer as 'No close family members living in India'. Seems like this is wrong since my wife's parents and brothers still live in India. Is my answer OK or will this be a major issue?

I thought this question was related to the immediate family of the person applying for OCI like the OCI Applicants spouse and children.

Can someone please respond?

It's not that big of a deal. If you wrote no close relatives even though you have relatives, it's perfectly fine. I didn't want them to track me down because I've so many relatives in India, I just wrote no close relatives and my OCi was granted.

I don't know why they need that information. Maybe in case they need to report my death or something to the closet relative in India then I understand, but once Indian officials FORCE us pay $175.00 to renounce citizenship (which is definitely not worth it) then they don't need to know where I am staying in India or with who.
