L1 B holder travelling to India with passport expiring in 6 months

Hi

I am an L1 B holder which expires in Dec 2012 .And my passport expires in Oct 2nd 2012.
Now I am planning a trip to India on March 31st , reaches India on April 2nd .(exactly six month before expiry) .And i am returning on April 17th and planning to renew my passport from India by tatkal scheme. We are travelling by Etihad via abudhabi
So my question is 1) will there be any problems entering India ?
2) Will there be any problem from airlines ?? in some other thread ,op mentioned Jet airways need 6 months validity for passports. Our travel agent didnt even ask the expiry date of passport, or its number !!!we got our tickets CONFIRMED
3) Any problems in Abudhabi-UAE ??

We travelled and reached back safely...
1)there was no problem entering India..
2)No problem from Airlines or in Abudhabi/UAE
We renewed passport in India,and came back safe ..thank God
