Visit Visa sponsored by sister

I am working in Dubai for 3 years now and we are given 1-2 months annual leave paid by the company. My step sister is living in the us(NURSE) and I was wondering if she can apply as my sponsor?

Also, if the consular office will ask me if I have a relative in the us, should I say YES? or just say I'll stay in a hotel.

Any comments will be much appreciated.
