wrong date of Birth in Passport

While renewing 3 rd indian passport for my daughter, there was typo error on the Date of Birth.
what is the process for speedy correction as we are planning to go to india in 2 weeks time.

please advice.

I am leaving India in another 3 days. I just noticed the typo. date and month are reversed. I am not sure what to do.. any help will be appreciated. Thanks

you can contact the authorities who issued u a passport. They will correct it on the basis of orignal birth certificate and give u immediately. Such corrections appear on the observation page of passport.
