Question regarding the Bridge plan

Thank you for taking the time to talk to me this morning.

As you suggested, I downloaded the application form for the Bridge plan. I had a few questions regarding the entries:

We expect to be eligible for Medicare only in Aug 2014 (i.e., 1 year from now for the green card, 5 years of residency, and then 1 more year for naturalization). Is this okay?
Period of insurance required: Can I set this to 3 months, and have it be renewable for every quarter as required?
I’d like insurance coverage to begin as soon as possible. Should I say Commencing: 01/25/2008, and then check off Part A & B?
I’d like to choose Each Cause and Deductible of 2500. This would make the quarterly premium $842, right?

2. Write 12 months. You can still pay quarterly.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just one remaining question:

For question 2 below, will I be liable for the payment for the whole year if my parents, for any reason, decide not to apply for residency? I.e., can I simply cancel the policy at any time for any reason?
