J1 and J2 exchange visitors or Research Scholars

hi, i am looking for health insurance with following medical coverage as required by the UCSD, San Diego J1 and J2 exchange visitors or Research Scholars. I just arrived and joined the UCSD and wish to purchase health insurance that meets the requirement of UCSD and get waiver for that from endorse insurance company: - $ 100,000 per person, per accident, per illness in medical coverage - annual deductible cannot exceed $500 per accident or illness - coinsurance that does not exceed 25% - medical evacaution coverage must be at least $50,000 - repatriation coverage must be at least $25,000 - plan includes a reasonable waiting period for pre-existing conditions (waiting period cannot be longer than 12 months) - carrier must be at least A-rated or backed by the full faith and credit of the Visiting Scholar's government I need to submit the insurance for myself J1 (age 39 yr) and my dependents J2 (wife; 36 yr, and child; 4 yr) I have seen your policies, that meet the J1 and J2 visa requirements but not meed the UCSD requirements. I need to submit the insurance plan to UCSD endorsed company Garnett-Powers (www.Garnett-Powers.com) for waiver. Kindly let me know the different best and cheap plan. Your school wants pre-ex coverage $100k per incident that’s not standard J1/J2 visa requirements. Because of that requirements you can’t purchase Atlas Exchange or Patriot Exchange plan.

Other plan will cost you at least $1000/ month. You can purchase insurance from your school.
