  • Attending flight school in Florida

Dear Madam/Sir, I'm a 31 year old Hungarian citizen and I'm going to attend a flight school in Florida from Feb 2006 to Feb 2008 on a J-1 visa. I have to purchase medical insurance coverage BEFORE I enter the US, according to the following reqirements: PROOF OF INSURANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ON J-1 VISA International Students coming to Ari-Ben Aviator, Inc. under a J-1 Visa must have proof of medical insurance coverage when entering the United States, in accordance with Immigration 22 CFR 514.14(a) (published March 19, 1993.). The minimum Coverage Required Is: 1) Medical benefits of at least $50,000.00 per accident or illness 2) Repatriation of remains in the amount of $7,500.00 3) Expenses associated with medical evacuation in the amount of $10,000.00 4) A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness The insurance policy should not contain any statements or clauses which preclude the exchange visitor from coverage due to flight training. I'm wondering whether a package like that is available at your company (through online purchase) and if yes, with what conditions. Thank you and best regards,
