  • Issues Opting Out Of J2 Insurance

    I have health insurance through J1. I recently started with J2 and I am attempting to opt out of coverage. They are using the service Gusto and when I pick that I am insured through my spouses insurance they are asking for my insurance provider and member number. Should I provide them with my J1 insurance information? Is there any way for them to use this information to find out that I am actually insured by my other employer and not a spouse? Should I select another option instead of insured by spouses insurance spankbang‚Äč?

    If you are unsure whether to provide your J1 insurance information when asked by Gusto, I recommend contacting your J1 or J2 employer's human resources department.
