Hi

I am going through lot of torture from my husband . I have a 4 year old son . I am asking him to send us to India so I can file for divorce there because I got married there . We still don't Hv green card . He is blackmiling me that he is going to cancel my visa so I ll Hv to go India without my kid . I can't leave my kid with him . Please help me what should I do ? I gave all
My earnings to him & he doesn't treat me good . He doesn't give me any expenses . I could Hv filed for divorce long back for various reasons but only for kid sake I dint do . Now he is threatening me that he will cancel my visa . Please please help .

Your husband can't "cancel your visa." You already used your visa t come to the U.S.

Your husband can refuse to continue processing of your Adjustment of Status, in which case you have options for self-petitioning to remain in the U.S.

Thank you Mr.Ray . You are right that our visa expired a month back & it's in the process of extension . He said he is going to cancel my extension & I will
Hv to leave the country next Friday . He is always kept me in his shadow & I trusted him only because he was my husband . But he did all that to take my earnings & make me empty .
Absolutely I Hv no knowledge about any legal system here . All that I do is research online .

Hai how could you go back or give all your earning to him. Go to Indian constitute or at least any women help bereau who help you and also provide you legal adviser with financial help. Do leave country without getting your right and your son with u.
If he absue or torture I m telling u please to go police and see what will happened to him. Do not scared at all. He is not man even or not human being so do not scared once you stop he definitely stop threating you.

I am also in same sort of issue husband is too good but problem is he had affair and walk out and now I m living with my daughter and she is only 4 years. That is why I m telling you do not give up try to be independent and u can do it. I m Indian too and at the moment in UK. So as mother and as wife and as lady I understand but please do not give up, I heard that in USA there is Indian society specially for help girls like you. So try to find that.
