I was sponsored by my American fiancee and am now married. We were living with his parents in California until we got married within 90 days of my entering the USA borders.
We moved about 4 months before I received my green card but we did not submit a change of address since we heard tons of scary stories about things being lost in the mail. And our old address was at his parent's house anyway which is a few blocks away.
It is now 6 months after our official move out date, and I am submitting the official change of address document. He is also submitting the sponsor change of address form as well.
Should we include a letter explaining what happened? Or will the USCIS not care as long as we submit the form eventually?
