Drivers License validity change when status change from H1 to H4

Hello,

I applied driver’s license when I was on H1B by showing my petition and got the validity for 3 years.
Now I have moved to my husband’s H4, and should I go to DMV and ask them to change it as per the new I-94 or I can ignore it.
