new born birth certificate/ssn/passport query with parent having FNU in us visa

Hi , for baby birth certificate/ passport did anyone deal with a situation where parent name is having just single name(in indian passport , only first name no surname) and having Fnu in us visa due to single name, what to use in parent name in baby birth certificate/ssn/ passport? Anyone experience this situation in california, any help is much appreciated.
