  • Accelerated processing

I currently have a GC application pending, having applied under the EB2 NIW process. I am not getting a lot of advice from my lawyer so I am trying here instead.

My application was received October 6th. For various reasons it would be useful if I had a GC by the end of April 2007. I have recently discovered that there is an accelerated scheme for processing the 1st stage. Is this going to speed up the overall process and what is the disadvantage of doing this?

    Thanks.

Are you talking about labor certification process (PERM)?
