  • PERM - Beneficiary not in US

    Hi,

One of the startup's in US have contacted me and asked if I am interested in moving back to US by applying PERM. I want to know if this is even normal and apart from the fact that it may be scam from his part, is there is any legal issue which I should be aware of? Does DOL/ICE takes this cases as normal??

Fact : I have been to US earlier in separate stints fora total of 10 year and never been out of status for a single day. Had B1/L1/H1 visa earlier....all expired now. Holder of Indian Passport.

    Thanks in Advance.

PERM alone is not sufficient to bring you to the US. if you have i140 approved and then h1b approved, then they may be able to bring you

Thanks for the response...I understand that PERM alone is not sufficient, I-140 is going to be next step. But my question was is that even possible? What if I140 approved but no H1 or L1 visa?
