EB2 and Job Title

Hi,

My employer is filing a PERM petition with job title as "Developer Level III" and the requirements as "Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. Must have 3 years experience with C++ and C#....".

Do these requirements sound more than needed for the job title. The company really required these, as its a security software firm, but, will this title lead to an audit?

What triggers an audit is unknown. You have to just wait and see. Most of the cases are random picks or picks based on some predefined criteria.

It is concerning that the audits are random, given that our careers depend on the immigration application. I guess we just have to hope for the best.

Is it true that if a Masters requirement is specified, the position must be related to some form of management, like a project lead, development lead, etc.?
