DOL has released the latest fact sheet as of 3/5/12,

as per that,

case processed: 21420

certified:13640 (64%)
denied: 3450 (16%)
withdrwan: 1080 (5%)

not sure what other missing 15% is.

plz update if anyone has got any recent Nov/Dec '11 approvals.

LC Applied in Dec 2011

My company has filed for LC with PERM in Dec 2011 - EB3.

My 6 year term for H1B will be done in Sep 2012.

What are the chances I will get approval in time so that I can file I-140 (premium) and have H1B extended?

Help me with any information or views.

latest PERM factsheet as of 2/15/2012

this is ridiculous but DOL has released the PERM factsheet as of 2/15/2012 and they are still reviewing October 2011 cases.the denial rate has gone up to 20% and approval rate is about 74.5 %. Also looks like they are focusing more on audit and appeal cases then standard cases.

My Attorney is asking for the below confirmation without which they cant file.

For me in January my 6th year will start and technically they are saying they cant file after 31st Jan 2012.

This is what they need.

"We still need confirmation from the local HR that there have been no layoffs in your position or a similar role in the geographic area within the past 6 months. Once we receive confirmation, we will file the application with the Dept. of Labor. ".

My Manager has responded back saying that there has not been any layoffs in his deptt however they want to get the confirmation from HR as well. And if HR says yes there have been layoffs then they are asking for separate questionaire to be sent to them statung the reasons for the individuals layoff and why that person was a misfit. Is it REALLY THAT DIFFICULT!!

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Applied Aug 22 and got it approved on Nov 16.

I was wondering about the same question

My perm was applied on jan 17 2011 (EB2); waiting for approval.

I work in Arizona - does any one know what center my application will go to and what is the typical processing time there?

I see people getting approval in 1 month or less. Is there any way to know how long to wait before you start making enquiries with the company immi-lawyer?
