Checking Status

First of all, thank you for the helpful info in your website.

I am a holder of a H-1B visa for six years now (I had it extended once). It expires at the end of June, 2009. My application for a green card was submitted last December, but I have not heard anything about it since. Currently, I am waiting for the labor certification to be approved. But it looks that I am running out of time. Is there anyway I can check the status of my application? What are my options?

I would appreciate your comments on this case.

Labor approval for GC

Hi,
I got my labor approved on may 15 2009. I went to india on June 2009 and came to US on Apr 2010. Will my labor still be valid or if i apply for labor for GC process again will it be faster. Thank you.
