  • Labor certification question.. Please help!

    hello,
I am an H-1b visa holder and my employer is trying to help me with the permanent residency process. This is the first time ever thwey are doing it so there is alot they need to learn.

Ok so I know that if a qualified US citizen applies for the job in reposnse to the job ad which was posted, then the chances of getting your LC approval are decreased. The best case scenario will be that no qualified US citizen applies for it, right? Now I order for that to happen I have been told that the employer (if possible) can post 2 same positions simultaneously so that if a qualified US citizen applies for the job, he/she could be interviewed for the other job. Does anyone have got any idea about this? How does that work? Will appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this. Thank you so much!

      None to commit immigration fraud.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

        ??????????

so you are saying that whenever a job is tailor made for an alien so that he/she can easily get the LC approved it is considered fraud? I guess that means there are thousands of people in this country holding GC just because they committed fraud.
