I worked as a graduate assistant (20 hrs/week) for a US university for 2 years while doing my masters. The job duties as a Graduate assistant matches the job requirements for the PERM. (Software Development)
Also, my supervisor at the university gave me an experience letter mentioning my position as software developer.
I have a couple questions regarding filing my PERM.
1. Can this experience be counted as work experience for the purpose of PERM filing?
2. Is it safe to use "Software Developer" as job title (for my work experience at the university) while filing PERM?
