Schengen Visa validity after Marriage

Hi, I am currently in USA (H1B visa) and my fiancee is in India. I am getting married in July, so I will be going to India . I am planning for a Honeymoon in Europe for a week on our way back to USA. My question is, can me and my fiancee apply for a tourist visa now separately (on single marital status)? Will it be valid after marriage? Do we have to do any paper work after marriage to change something on those tourist visas?
