I and my fiancee are planning to take a trip to Greece for our Honeymoon. We are scheduled to get married on 11th July, 2013 and are planning to leave for Greece on 20th July, 2013 for a period of 9 days. I am based in New York, USA, while my fiancee is in New Delhi, India at the moment and hence we have to apply for our respective Schengen visas separately.
I applied for mine today at the Consulate General of Greece in New York and have been asked to collect the same on 1st July,2013. My query is regarding my fiancee's visa application.
1. Does she need to include a copy of my visa in her application? Or she can apply for her visa with her documents , as per the list mentioned on the Greece Consulate's website, and include paper work from my application such as application form, demand draft made to the Consulate General of Greece, bank statements etc?
I ask the aforementioned question because waiting for my visa until July 1st would give her a small window of time to collect her passport and be ready for her visa (H-4) interview at the US Embassy, scheduled for 16th July.
Clarification on the above will be a huge favor!
