Airport transit visa

I am a citizen of India, traveling from USA with a student F-1 visa to India. On my Flight to Chennai, I have a layover time of 3 hours 5 minutes in Frankfurt. In my return trip, I will be transiting two cities (Chennai-Frankfurt-Dusseldorf-Newyork). I have a layover time of 1 hour 50 minutes in Frankfurt and 55 minutes in Dusseldorf. Do I need a transit visa?* (I will be staying inside the airport in both trips).

Hi I am in the similar situation. I am an Indian student on F1 visa traveling to New Delhi, India from Chicago. On my way to India, I am transiting through Frankfurt and Dusseldorf. While returning from India, I have layovers at Vienna and Dusseldorf for 1 hour and 4 hour respectively. Do I need a transit VISA? Please help
