Valid for 'Schengenstaten' Means ?

I got a short stay schengen visa from Netherlands. It says Valid for as 'Schengenstaten'. What does it means ?

During application i gave itinerary only for Netherlands.

Does it allow me to travel to Belgium & Paris under this visa ?

As per my understanding with that visa you can visit all the 26 Schengen countries.
