Schengen visa

Hi,
applying for schengen visa, I went to India in Nov 2005 and got my H-1 b stamping till Oct 2007. Then I changed my job and have my H-Ib under new employer but i donot havemy passport stamped for the H-1b under the new employer and I am planning to visit France and Italy. will there be a problem to get the schengen visa and return to USA?

as long as you are back before the visa expires and present the new approval no issues.
