I read your site and was wondering if you could help me. Do you know if it is possible for an Ethiopian citizen to secure a short stay visa for France, and how long it might take to get one after applying?

You mentioned that a visitor might apply for a Schengen Visa.

applying visa to france

good day i am resident in Philippines and Filipino citizen i have a boyfriend in France and he wanted me to visit him in his country in order to meet his parents..as well as to visit some places in France specially Paris...he went here last year month of November and he wanted me to meet his family as well as he did to my family i want to visit him only in a one month and half.but regarding on our search regarding tourist visa in the internet it says that in tourist visa i need to have a stable job and other supporting documents..my boyfriend will going to shoulder and support all my expenses during my stay and he will responsible to my accommodation in France...we want to apply tourist/sponsor visa because we don't have yet plan to marry,and regarding about marrying we were planning to get married in two years from now.i hope you may help me regarding my concern....we were hoping to be together this coming December..thanks i hope to here from you soon
