We are four friends traveling to Europe this Fall. Two of us are traveling from the US and two from India.
We are applying for visas individually. And Frankfurt being our first port of entry, we want to apply at the German consulate.
I would like to know if there is anything specific I should be aware of (I am H1B in the US) I have travel itineraries (return ticket) and hotel stays for some part of the trip. I also have car rental agreements. I can furnish bank statements and have a letter from my employer.
Is the German consulate a good option or is it better to try any other country's? I could modify my flight ticket to suit if required.
