Schengen Visa Question-Remark

I have been issued Schengen visa (Type C) Multiple entry by French consulate in Mumbai as I’m going for business trip to Paris. I have following questions:

1. My ticket is via Frankfurt (Air India from Ahmedabad to Frankfurt, and then from Frankfurt to Paris by Air France same day). I am expected to clear immigration at Frankfurt although visa is issued by French consulate. Is that okay?

2. The “REMARQUES” column in my visa is blank, is that okay too?
