I came to US on March 2016. My spouse and son came on August 2016. For tax return, I need to go for ITIN for them and also I came to know since my spouse and son have not stayed in US for minimum 183 days, I need to fill 6013 G for my Spouse so that she can be considered as non-residence...

I want to file my 2013 tax return as "Married Filing Jointly" with my wife using IRC §6013(g) election. This election allows a non-resident spouse to be treated as resident if filing jointly. Please refer following link for more details -
