Checks not cashed 290+days. No I-485 receipt & "Alien registration number changed"??

Filed I-130 October 2011. RFE sent and received 1/9/2012. I-130 approved 12/26/2012.
Sent I-485 March 2012; received 3/29/2012 (have USPS tracking # showing delivery).

i) As of today, 1/13/2013, USCIS has not cashed checks sent with I-485 (290 days).
