Checks not cashed 290+days. No I-485 receipt & "Alien registration number changed"??
Filed I-130 October 2011. RFE sent and received 1/9/2012. I-130 approved 12/26/2012.
Sent I-485 March 2012; received 3/29/2012 (have USPS tracking # showing delivery).
i) As of today, 1/13/2013, USCIS has not cashed checks sent with I-485 (290 days).
ii) I received an email 1/4/2012 under my I-130 approval saying "Your Alien Registration Number was changed based on your I-130..."
Please note: I have not received any letter showing any Alien Registration #
Please also note: I have no I-485 receipt or notice, so if I call USCIS, I don't have a number I can reference.
This is all at VSC. Has anyone else experienced this or do you know what i going on? I want to call USCIS on the I-485, but like I said, I have received no notices from them in reference to this so I have no receipt or notice number to give them if I call.
