F1 approved but can I continue with another online program enrolled when on H4?

Hi,
I am current MS student got change of status from H4 to F1. Is it advisable to travel to India for F1 stamping when only 1.5 months are left to I-20 expiry? Travel is for some family business not solely for stamping and do plan to come back in 2 weeks. Please guide.
