Hi,

Can anyone please help me out to figure out how many months I am eligible to stay in USA in my scenario? I have read USCIS website but I am not sure how it should be interpreted in my case.

Query regarding combined stay on H1 B

My H-1B non-immigrant visa for FY2014 has been approved by the USCIS with validity dates of 10/01/2013 to 11/01/2014. I am not sure why did I get the approval for ONLY 1 year and 1 month, when usually the H1 B petition validity is for 3 years.
I am not sure if this is anyway related to my previous...
