Lost replacement green card and now reentry permit valid for only 1month

Dear friends,

I have valid Reentry permit but my replacement green card is lost in the mail.

Details about my case
1)Original Green card = Valid from 06/04/2007 to 06/18/2017
2)I moved to India in 2012 and ever since I was on ReEntry Permit

My biometrics is scheduled but I lost my green card. Do I need to have it with me for biometrics as well? I do have copy of green card as well as police report.

I lost my green card and have to travel in 5 days.
I immediately filed an I 90 and payed and made an info pass appointment.
They refused to give me an i 551 stamp without an biometrics appointment.
He said I could travel but it will just take a little bit longer to get back into...
