Property Docs/One and Same person/Affadivit - please clarify

Hi All,

My parents are preparing for their B2 Visa and had a few questions that am hoping you guys could help clarify:

1. Property Documents - Do we need property documents certified by a CA or can it be certified by a government official ( Tahsildar (retired), Approved Valuer). Have you guys Is there a time validity for these docs - that is no more than 3 months old etc.?

2. One and Same Person - I have obtained a Government issued One and the same Certificate. Do you know if we also need a Affidavit?

3. Affidavit - does the Affidavit need to be on any special paper/letter head or just a word doc will suffice.

Default Reapplying for my visa
Hello sir,

I along wit my parents applied for US visa last week. Somehow my visa got rejected due to 214(b). But my parents got their visa! We are planning to go for my brother's graduation and after that visit my aunt. All the required documents were present but I wasn't given the opportunity to present them. The officer didn't see any documents and before I could explain myself I was handed over the 214 (b) rejection.
Date of going and returning back everything is mention on the form. We have the print out of the tickets too. Plus my brother's graduation invitation!

You just need to have original registry in the applicant's name & a valuation of the property by a CA (not required, but a plus).

No, its not needed.

Assuming you are in USA & providing affidavit of support to your parents - this need to be on Form I-134. Other local affidavits do not have any value.

How are the questions the same??????? Ignore them if it is bothering you but not sure how you think they are the same.

You've had responses to similar ques by Libra_14 and daggit. Multiple threads tend drown out other's questions.

Even if the questions are relevant, one should use the same thread for two reasons:
1. Reducing number of threads for the sake of helping others
2. No need to re-post the whole background story for each question
