Here is my timeline,

USCIS received documents on March 12, 2018,
Money withdrawn on 21st March,
Messages with receipt numbers received on 23 March evening.

I received two texts the night of 03/25/18 confirming receipt of I-130/I-485, but no I-765.

My Husband received a denial in the mail on 03/26/18 for form I-765. They denied it because we didn't include the fee, however, it explicitly says on form I-485 instructions that the fee for I-765 (and I-131) isn't necessary if it is submitted in conjunction I-485 and it's appropriate fee (top of page 16 of the instructions). After researching a little, I found another site where someone else had a similar issue and they said to write a letter and include a copy of form I-797 when we receive it in the mail. I will also include a copy of the instructions. I am also going to contact our congresswoman and see about expediting the EAD process since it was a mistake on behalf of USCIS.

I'll write an update when I have more information.

03/26/18 - received txt and email notification regarding reception of cases with receipt numbers for all documents filed.

I added the paper-based filing for all cases to my USCIS account to keep track of the pending cases.

Anybody knows how long until the next step in the process? Which I think would be the biometrics appointment, yes?

You should receive the Notice of Action 797 which states that your case has been accepted by a specific office. You should receive a letter for you biometric appointment. Check the status of your application at: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Update: as long as it might sound crazy, my husband and I talked a lot but he totally forgot to tell me that he received both emails and text from USCIS night!!! So, with my application I sent three G-1145, one with his number for the I130 and one with my phone number for the I485. Apparently they save in the system only one number, which makes totally sense. I don't know if that's the reason but in the package the I130 form was the first.

Both emails and texts were received at 12.22 am

Application received on March 21, 2018 forgot one field

Hi, my application was received on March 21, 2018 for adjustment of status based on marriage. I am waiting for text or email or the checks to be cashed. Nothing has happened yet. I am worried that I realized I left one field empty. I forgot to write the name of my previous employer. Will they return it for that reason? Thanks!

Which center you were assigned to? I thought Ohio applicants were assigned to Nebraska center by default but my case has been assigned to the Missouri center.
