EAD expiring!
I had my interview (family based adjustment of status) yesterday and the IO said that I will have an answer in 6-8 weeks and then it will take another 2 months after that to get the card. My EAD expired in a little over a week and current processing times are 4-6 months for the EAD renewal. I understand that if i apply before it expires, I will get a 180 day extension. I am not currently working, but my drivers license will expire. Is it even worth extending it? Will I have to redo biometrics, or just send in the application?
