OPT Extension Pending since 6 months URGENT
Hi
My OPT got expired on Jan 20 2013. I applied for OPT extension in Dec 2012 to California Center.
Dec 6 2012 USCIS received my application for OPT extension. Its 6 months now and its still in initial review.
I changed my employer in March 2013 and updated employer change information just yesterday that is on June 04 2013 to my college.
My college DSO says as I have updated the employer change information so late it will cause lots of problem to me.
And how long I am authorized to work since my application is pending ?
And will it be a good idea to apply for H1 as my OPT has expired and OPT extension is pending ?
Can please anyone suggest something.
