Hello,
I have a question regarding my OPT application. I sent in an I-765 application in August and have the EAD card sent to me in mid-November. However, the PO messed up and did not deliver my card while saying it was delivered. Since the PO said they couldn't do anything, I filed an I-765 application for a replacement card. However, a week after the application was sent, USCIS said the original EAD card was returned.
I then proceeded to request the EAD card to be resent to me. Currently, the request was assigned to an officer for response. However, the second I-765 application was also received by USCIS and there is no update on that currently.
My question is whether I should write a letter to withdraw the second I-765 application. Is there any risk in doing so or not doing so?
