OPT & non-accredited university-plz help

Hi All,
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am planning to join in Herguan University. My main goal is to get OPT with F1 visa and apply for H1B with that. But the univ is not yet accredited(they are in the process of getting accredited) but they can get me OPT. Is it going to be a problem getting my H1B from OPT if the univ is not yet accredited or it does not matter?

If you are going for Master's degree, H1 petition will not qualify under Master's quota if the school is not accredited. In general there is a lot of scrutiny for H1 petitions these days. If you have a decent career in your home country I will advise you to not leave it for this shady university. You should try to get a degree from some good University, they all support F1 students and OPT.
